Ballet Folklorico La Joya de Mexico is a UCSD undergraduate dance group that focuses on the traditional folk dancing of Mexico. Students are responsible for teaching the dances from almost every region of Mexico. The dances to be performed are from the Mexican region of Sinaloa and are called Toro Mambo, Sinaloense and Mazatlan. Please join us to watch this young dance group perform.
